Introduction

I'm currently working as a Software Engineer for Walt Disney Internet Group, working on web account registration and online ordering systems for Disney and the numerous companies that it owns. I like working in the problem domain of web software and scalable distributed systems.

As far as the actual coding, most of my implementation work involves Java in a servlet environment, interacting with relational databases. After spending the past few years working mostly in C++ and Perl, its an interesting shift to see Java and its associated tools.

Outside of work, I'm currently spending some free time digging into C# and .NET. During college, I was also very interested in graphics programming. Unfortunately, I haven't had as much time as I would like to research that area in the past several years. At some point, I'd like to dig back into OpenGL and DirectX.
